About the Facility
Nestled within the beautiful Rancho Bernardo Community Park, the San Diego Ace Tennis Academy provides an exceptional environment for tennis lovers. Our clinics and private group classes take place on six newly resurfaced tennis courts, all surrounded by the lush greenery of this expansive park.
The park offers more than just tennis; it boasts a fully-equipped recreation center, two outdoor basketball courts, eight ballfields, and a spacious two-acre dog park located at its southern end. The tennis courts are illuminated, allowing for play even after sunset.

Ballfields: Eight expansive fields available for various sports.

Spanning over 40 acres, the park also includes play areas for all ages, a large outdoor gazebo, and a newly renovated turf field open to the community, all contributing to a vibrant atmosphere. Rancho Bernardo is known for its beautiful, master-planned suburban setting, excellent schools, and a wide range of recreational options, including golf courses and parks. With access to hiking trails and Lake Hodges, it offers the perfect blend of nature and community spirit.
Meet the Director:
We are thrilled to announce the opening of the San Diego Ace Tennis Academy at the Rancho Bernardo Community Tennis Center, under the leadership of Head Professional and RSPA/USPTA Coach, Stephanie Hoffpauir. With 17 years of coaching experience in San Diego, Stephanie has devoted the last 12 years to RBCTC. Our academy has now grown to include over 120 active participants who are enjoying the process of enhancing their tennis skills, strategy, and fitness within the San Diego community. Before embarking on her coaching journey, Coach Stephanie trained as a professional tennis player, achieving a Top 5 singles national ranking in the USTA Girls’ 18s in 2009, along with a WTA ranking. She also received a full-ride scholarship to both UCLA and USD. The wealth of experience gained from competing at a professional level, combined with countless hours on the court, has significantly shaped her abilities and strengths as a Head Professional and Academy Director for SDATA.
